On average, 15 suppliers are eligible for each order. More than 50% of orders are confirmed within 30 minutes, and delivery is made on the exact date you selected at checkout.

Certain popular, regularly stocked products qualify for Core delivery charges. These products are marked by the Core label.
Orders over £300 ex. VAT of Core products have FREE delivery. Orders under £300 ex. VAT of Core products have a £25 delivery charge.
When an order contains both Core and non-Core products, we will calculate the delivery charge using both the Core and Standard methods, and you’ll be charged whichever is cheaper.
You can select your preferred delivery date at checkout. Standard delivery is typically within 2 working days, but lead times vary by product. Express delivery is available for certain items and offers next day delivery. Once an order is accepted by a supplier, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the delivery details.
If you are not available between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM on the delivery day, a failed delivery charge may apply. This charge is typically equal to the delivery fee or £50 (whichever is lower)

We deliver to the UK mainland, including England, Scotland, and Wales. Additional charges may apply for deliveries to remote areas in Wales and Scotland.

Once you receive your first offer, you can no longer edit the enquiry. If changes are required, you’ll need to submit a new enquiry.
Orders with products from different categories (e.g., insulation and timber) are often fulfilled by different suppliers, resulting in split deliveries of associated orders.
An enquiry lets you request a quote for specialist products. Will will usually provide offers within one working hour, though we recommend waiting up to four hours for the best prices.
If your order contains products from different delivery groups, it may be split into associated orders, with each part fulfilled by a different supplier. You will receive separate emails confirming each part of your order.
You can cancel via your customer dashboard or by reaching out to Materials Market Customer Service. Cancellations must be made by 3pm the day before delivery.
Equivalent products match the technical specifications of the product you requested but may be from a different brand. You can choose whether or not to accept equivalent products during checkout.
Timber lengths of 6m or 7.2m often have engineered finger-joints, which are stronger than solid timber.
